ABOUT US

Small Batch Apothecary was born from a desire to bring calm, healing, and joy into the lives of others—naturally. 

It began 30+ years ago in a small Chicago bedroom with some teenage sorcery and a pouch of healing crystals, then grew into a collection of stones, silver, and precious oils from around the world.

After moving to California in 2011, I begin eliminating toxins and chemicals from our household, and started experimenting with herbs, plants, and essential oils. I wanted to really understand if (and why) it all worked, and how to do it safely and effectively.

In March of 2021, after more than 300 hours of classes and case work, I became a certified aromatherapist, and am recognized by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. 

I continue to deepen my studies, attend seminars with leading experts in the field, and practice case work thanks to my willing and enthusiastic friends!
